Visited the Courtyard cafe on Shrove Tuesday. Ordered a stack of freshly made pancakes and maple syrup and two mugs of tea. (fuel for a brisk walk). Lovely pancakes, a good strong cuppa enjoyed within the charming courtyard. The service was excellent, polite and friendly. A good place to escape the mayhem for a while. Most definitely worth another visit. p.s. The poached egg Royale with salmon is superb.
Just enjoyed the best afternoon tea EVER!! What a great experience.Well done ladies, it was second to none! We will be back soon.
Yet another fantastic celebrity afternoon tea in The Courtyard. This place is a hidden gem and is like it's own oasis off heaven. The food is exquisite and all made fresh to order, from the tea cups and tea pots, to the pretty decor made our afternoon tea just amazing. Jane and her staff were as always very polite, helpful and went out off their way to make our visit a very special one. Myself, my sister celebrated our Aunties and our Mum's birthdays and we all had a wonderful time. The food was just divine. I can't wait to return. See you all soon. Kind thanks to Jane and her staff. Your really special people.
FOR ALL TEA LOVERS.. come here and you won't be disappointed. From a unassuming entrance you enter a lovely tearoom with room inside and out plus a little snug, with a great choice of tea leaves ( Yunnan is my new favourite) to accommodate most people. All the food looked great and the cake are to die for, I went for my favourite a cream tea and wasn't disappointed the scones we light and broke perfectly (well done chef).. Great staff, reasonably priced and we'll be back for sure
Relaxed vibe. Tiny venue with extra space across the courtyard. Good choice of food. Lovely cream teas.
Went here today for lunch absolutely amazing staff so very friendly nothing to much very helpful. Food was outstanding and great value a lovely cosy clean place I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back asap
A well organized, beautiful Tea room run by a very passionate local family, located in the middle of Poole town centre. We had English High Tea and it was very satisfying. Staff (presumably the people who run the restaurant) was very friendly, patient and helpful. I highly recommend here for an afternoon Tea experience. Thanks. ...
Wonderful place to stop for tea and cake. Slightly away from the quay, but we’ll worth it. It is so nice to visit a tea shop which isn’t run by some large chain and has staff who really care about the food, the drinks and the customers. It was sparkling clean and the food was good. W will be back.
